An exciting opportunity awaits a talented Electronics Engineering Team Leader to join a dynamic and innovative team based in Adelaide. This role is critical in leading and developing a high-performing electronics engineering team to create next-generation products. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the department and ensuring the delivery of top-quality electronics systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of skilled electronics engineers in the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge electronics systems.
Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to production, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and scope.
Oversee the creation of schematic designs, PCB layouts, and embedded software development.
Implement rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure the reliability and functionality of electronics systems.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline.
10+ years of experience in electronics design and development, including hardware and firmware.
Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded software development.
Experience in leading engineering teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of industry standards, compliance, and best practices within the automotive or military sectors.
Australian citizenship is mandatory due to Defence-related projects.
