An exciting opportunity awaits a talented Electronics Engineering Team Leader to join a dynamic and innovative team based in Adelaide. This role is critical in leading and developing a high-performing electronics engineering team to create next-generation products. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the department and ensuring the delivery of top-quality electronics systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of skilled electronics engineers in the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge electronics systems.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to production, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and scope.
  • Oversee the creation of schematic designs, PCB layouts, and embedded software development.
  • Implement rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure the reliability and functionality of electronics systems.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in electronics design and development, including hardware and firmware.
  • Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded software development.
  • Experience in leading engineering teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, compliance, and best practices within the automotive or military sectors.
  • Australian citizenship is mandatory due to Defence-related projects.
