• Installation: Expertly install metal roofing systems on various structures, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This involves precise measurements, cutting, and shaping of metal sheets to ensure a perfect fit.
• Repairs: Identify and repair leaks, damaged metal panels, and other issues in existing metal roofs. This may include the replacement of damaged sections, resealing joints, and ensuring the overall integrity of the roofing system.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on metal roofs, including gutter cleaning, inspection for wear and tear, and necessary adjustments to ensure longevity and functionality.
• Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to safety guidelines and regulations while working at heights, handling tools and equipment, and utilizing personal protective equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other construction professionals, such as builders, architects, and fellow tradespeople, to ensure the seamless integration of the metal roofing system with the overall building structure.
• Problem-solving: Effectively troubleshoot issues related to metal roofing systems and implement efficient solutions

1. Experience: Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of previous experience in metal roofing installation and repair, gained through apprenticeships or on-the-job training.
2. Physical Fitness: Display good physical fitness and agility, as the job involves working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks.
3. Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of different metal roofing materials, construction techniques, and relevant safety regulations.
4. Attention to Detail: Execute tasks with precision and attention to detail, particularly when measuring, cutting, and installing metal roofing components.
5. Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure a smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
6. Elevated Work Platforms: Hold necessary tickets for performing tasks related to the installation of roof and rainwater goods from elevated work platforms.

• Clear and concise communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Availability to travel throughout Australia

• Previous metal roofing experience

• Proficiency in appropriate tools and equipment usage

• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings

• Comfortable working safely at heights
