 The Opportunity

Step into a pivotal role in Darling Downs Health’s **Critical Care Ward**, where you’ll deliver specialist care to patients with complex and life-threatening conditions. This position blends **clinical leadership, teaching, and service innovation**—ensuring outstanding patient outcomes while shaping the future of healthcare delivery.

You’ll:

* Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and life-saving interventions.
* Mentor registrars and residents, fostering a thriving learning environment.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive excellence in patient-centred care.
* Engage in teaching and research through the **University of Queensland**.
* Contribute to clinical governance, innovation, and service improvements.

 What You’ll Bring

✔ Fellowship of the **College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM)** or equivalent
✔ Current registration with **AHPRA** (Specialist)
✔ Demonstrated expertise in Critical Care/ICU
✔ Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
✔ Commitment to clinical governance, education, and research
