Position Overview:

Partnering with the renowned John Deere lineup of agricultural machinery, you will play a pivotal role as the key liaison between our Hutcheon and Pearce Griffith branch and our customers, ensuring seamless maintenance and repairs for their equipment.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Provide accurate and competitive quotations for service repair jobs, ensuring transparency and clarity for customers.
  • Coordinate and manage customer job bookings, working closely with the Service Manager to optimise scheduling.
  • Prepare and process warranty and product improvement claims, including calculating charges, submitting documentation, and following up with the Group Warranty Department for timely resolution.
  • Review and refine Repair Order (RO) stories, identifying gaps and opportunities to support the Service Manager in final invoice approvals.
  • Compile, analyse, and share key performance insights, tracking department efficiency and productivity to support continuous improvement.

As the successful applicant you will have:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Sound knowledge of accounting practices.
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions.
  • Knowledge of office procedures, data entry, and spreadsheets.
  • Good understanding of mechanical / technical terms is preferred.
  • Qualifications as a mechanic preferred but not essential with experience.
  • An energetic and can-do approach to your work
