    The Role

    Kickstart your career with an exciting opportunity to complete an Apprenticeship with Pirtek Bathurst. Successful applicants will complete a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade through a combination of on the job training and online course components. Not only will you be completing a nationally recognised qualification but you will also receive full product and service training to begin your career as a Pirtek Service Technician.

    In addition to undertaking the practical components of the Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade the role’s General Duties will include:

  • Assembly of hose and fittings components
  • Provide assistance to Mobile Service Technicians and Trade Counter Technicians
  • Assemble components parts and follow work instructions using hand and small power tools
  • Ensure that work is performed as per work instructions
  • Proactively work within team environment
  • Complete all paperwork, requirements, timesheets, job cards
  • Assist to customers’ needs at counter and on the phone

    You

    To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

  • A keen interest in the mechanical engineering discipline
  • Sound language, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to stay on task and take instructions well
  • Honest, Reliable and Trustworthy
  • An excellent work ethic
  • Neat and tidy presentation
